Unpublished Results

In collaboration with the Nemo science center we conducted a study investigating the development of superstition in 7- to 12-year old children. We used a dice-throwing game and we measured effort (force and duration of lever pull) in the dice throwing game and superstitious beliefs using questionnaire data.

No clear relation between the self-report and the behavioral measures was found. The outcomes of this project can be found below (with thanks to Daniela Becker)!. The raw data is available upon request.
